This week, we learned the story of Moshe and Aharon going to see Paroh. Hashem told them to tell Paroh to let the Jewish people leave Egypt, but Paroh said no.
Moshe and Aharon performed miracles to show Hashem’s strength, such as turning the staff into a snake, but Paro still did not change his mind. They warned him that Hashem would bring the Ten Makos, powerful plagues.
Each child created a beautiful book illustrating all of the Makos using different art styles and materials. Here you can see Yosef creating frogs for Makas Tzefardea! ๐ธ
The classroom was filled with giggles and ribbits when the children showed how loud frogs could be!
To bring the story to life, we took a special visit to our local pet store, where the children excitedly searched for frogs ๐ธ and snakes ๐ they had learned about, and discovered many other animals along the way!

Academics
Mitten measuring! We measured classmates using “mittens;” reinforcing concepts of size, comparison, & lining up units end-to-end.
We have been exploring non-standard measurement using everyday items. Chana & Avraham used crackers to measure lines..and bonus…they got to eat their “measuring tools!”
Shabbat Shalom!
