Pesach Plagues

This week we furthered our knowledge of Pesach by introducing the plagues of Blood and Frogs. We learned that the Nile river was first to become blood because Pharaoh loved it so much, and thought he could control it. We had friends pretend they were Mitzryi'im ( Egyptians) during the plague of blood.  We showed the big Miracle how even from drinking in the same cup the Jewish people always had water and not blood.

We explored different types of frogs and used playdough to create a giant frog to teach us where all the other frogs came from. When the Mitzryi'im saw the giant frog they started hitting it to destroy it, but only more frogs came out of his mouth!

We learned how frogs breath! It was fascinating to see how they grow a bubble in their throat!
We practiced breathing like they do.

Puzzle with the Makos!

Mr. Potato head taught us how we can only have potato starch for baking because that's not Chamets ;)

We learned how Matzah was created  by the Jewish mothers making challah for Shabbos and Moshe came to tell all the Jews to leave Mitzrayim (Egypt) right away. There was no time for the dough to rise and the sun was so hot , which made it cook the dough just like that!

Preparing for our Hagadah!
