How many members in your family? Math in the classroom!

We will be doing a unit of study on the FAMILY! 

We introduced the unit with laminated family picture cards... The children enjoyed using them in the block center with the new piece of furniture that we added. Then we used them to count family members!

At circle time, we used a graph to help us see the differences in size of each family! We counted family members, and each child found which column to place their name on.
