This week the children enjoyed the "kindness trip" that they have been working towards since Lag B'omer.
Every time an act of kindness was seen, we added a scoop full of birdseed into our kindness Jar!
The jar got filled to the top...and on Thursday we enjoyed a trip to Mission Oaks Park.
Before the picnic and play time at the park, we grabbed the opportunity of taking the children to visit the beautiful Chabad Synagogue as part of our preparation for the upcoming Holiday of Shavuot.
For some of the children, it was their FIRST time seeing a REAL Torah!
After the Synagogue, we enjoyed feeding the birds, playing and picnic lunch at Mission Oaks Park!
The birds enjoyed all the birdseed that was collected from our acts of Kindness!
