Don't 'Fall' in the wind!

Fall and Wind

These past couple weeks we have been experiencing wind and watching beautiful leaves fall on the ground during this season of fall.
Together we reflected on the wind and using all types of learning skills discovered more about wind and fall.

Experimenting with 'wind' using a fan and different heavy and light items.
Mina documenting what flew easy and and what didn't. We noticed Eitan placing items on the string attached to the fan to see if it would still fly.

A straw and a feather helped us learn about the effects of wind. we used our breathe to create the wind and watched the feather fly away!

Negative space art creating 'wind'.
First our friends made wind twirl marks with their finger and then gently placed a paper on top.

Adelle proud of how her wind project turned out.

Nature and sensory experience at the playdough table and sand table.

Menachem demonstrated the different colors Hashem makes the leaves turn during the fall time!

Chana Rochel using yellow pieces to create a big leaf that was taped on the floor.
The boys helped clear the gutter of the 'leaves'.

Taking the same nature objects and placing them on a light table gives a whole different dimension.
Esther used the holes in the neat branch to make a beautiful bouquet.

Leaf rubbing, can you tell what kind of leaf is under your paper? Mina concentrating on putting beads on a thin branch.

Nothing like getting right into the leaves!
