Coming and Choosing

After a long Winter break we are so excited to be back in school! it was so heartwarming to reunite and talk with each other our experiences over break! We started off by having pictures of all the kids vacations on the table which gave each friend a chance to share and show their friends visually. Then they decorated their paper including the photos for our Gan family scrapbook. We noticed a few similar photos and experience.

Our first day back We had a Birthday party!
Happy birthday Chaya Leah
We love you

Getting back into routine takes some time and sometimes we forget what to do next at what choices are appropriate and safe for school. In circle time we learned in this weeks Torah Portion Vayechi how Yakov was going to tell his kids (the Shevatim) when Moshiach was going to come. Hashem gave him the power to know it will be and was going to pass the message down. Then something happened! Hashem removed that memory from him so he was not able to tell them when it would come! We spoke about this with eachother and the kids were very intrigued, They started expressing how its going to come now! And that was exactly Hashems lesson for us to learn from the story. Hashem wanted to give us the opportunity to make the right choices to bring Moshiach closer. We have the power to change the time of it coming and make it come faster!

We have 2 Yakovs' in our class which was really exciting for them because they were our role models for a bit in the story.

Understanding the power of our choices we read a book that you can choose from 2 choices what the ending will be. It was very cool to see what our friends chose and how it changed the ending. we saw how when they chose the positive one it always helped and solved the situation smoothly, and when they chose the other choice, it ended not so good.

We had some friends bring in toys that we all enjoyed! They had the choice to bring it in and share it with everyone! As a team they created a garage for the remote control police car, it was a very exciting event. A few friends shared that they got that too for a Chanukah present!
