Its that time of year..
With sniffles and weather changes, we felt it was important to learn how we keep our germs to ourselves and good hygiene!
Especially with the age and stage of the children in our classroom, it is so easy for germs to be passed around! We also wanted to teach our friends it is actually a MITZVAH to keep our bodies healthy! Hashem cares about us even how we wash our hands!
Well, our friend 'sneezy Sara' came to visit. Every time she sneezed it sprayed! Our friends help her catch her sneeze and germs with a tissue!
Yossi showed us the proper way to cough, in our elbow.
How can we learn how bad germs can spread without seeing them?
We used glitter as our pretend germs.
Leah high fived Eli and we saw those 'germs' on his hand too!
We watched them go down the drain with soap.
Learning about what germs look like.
Another fun experiment using pepper in floating water.
The pepper represented the bad germs and we watched as soon as a friend put their soapy finger in it they 'ran away'.
Working together as a team.
Washing our toys with soap and water was a fun sensory experience.
Our Shabbos Ima and Abba.
Shalom Alechiem....
Yossi, practicing wearing Tzsis and let Levi give them a kiss.
Our friends helping prepare our Tu B'shvat bulletin board.
