Purim unit 1: As Purim is approaching we started of this week by learning about Mordechai and Esther in the times of Shushan. We focused on there home and way of life. Mordechai was a great Tzaddik (righteous man) and Esther (who was first named Hadassah) was a great Tzadeikes (righteous women). We learned how we are like Mordechai and Esther.
Mordechai was a Torah scholar and he made sure all the Jewish boys and girl learned Torah and do Mitzvos! Practicing our letter recognition and placing it inside a Torah.
Mordechai joined our davening circle and was so proud of us singing with so much passion and knowing the Aleph Beis!

We are learning to recognize our own names
Each kid wrote their own Hebrew name on their very own Siddurim.
