Happy Tu B'shvat!

Happy Tu B'shvat week!
We dissected fruit and categorized them by stem, seeds and the flesh of the fruit.

 We practiced our cutting skills.

Planting in our sensory bin.

Tu B'shvat, comes out on the 15th of the Hebrew month of Shvat when the trees in Israel start their blooming season. There are 7 special fruit of Israel that we customarily eat on the holiday.
Talking and tasting them helped us get ready and feel comfortable with some new tastes.

Looking inside the fig and discussing when we can eat seeds and when they are uneatable.
Mordy, helped us in a game of matching the correct zoomed in picture to the corresponding special fruit.

Levi, making small play dough balls to look like grapes which is one of the special fruits.

So much fun!!

Finding a worm and saying hi.

Cozy book time!

What a fun Grandparents event we had for Tu B'shvat!

Good Shabbos!
