This week we continued the story of Purim!
How brave Mordechai was in the face of Haman! As Jewish people throughout history we have been faced with many people who have tested our faith. Role models like Mordechai have helped us stay strong as a nation. In our own life and a smaller scale there are many times we can use a 'Mordechai voice' and be brave.
Mordy, practicing his brave voice to Haman that he will not bow down to him only to Hashem!
During the Megillah, we learned when we make noise while hearing Haman's name.
Making our own graggers was a step by step process.
First, we got to color the rice and after filing it we made a 'I spy' game inside.
Practicing the technique of making Hamentashen by using clay! We can't wait to make real Hamentashen!
Working hard on creating our own art Megillah. Each friend got a different scene to draw.
Avraham, creating Purim puppets.
Our dramatic play area turned into a place to role play the Purim story.
Adding to the bling by making our own jewelry.
Prk Kria
We learned the letter samach. Practicing writing it and making a samach with pipe cleaners.
Yossi, make a sukkah for the letter samaech.
Kindergarten Kria
We went on a Cholom hunt. Finding words around the room that can us a dot sticker cholom and trying to read it!
Science time! Our little scientists had fun learning about states of matter! Our “ice cream floats” showed all 3 states of matter; (solid/liquid/gas.) & best of all, we could eat the experiment!
