Sweet Mitzvahs at the BEEginning of Gan!

The first week at Gan was quite a sweet one ;)

We began learning about Rosh Hashanah. Our first step was wiping out our family photos and discussing how much our parents love us!

Arden and Juda showing their friends their family.

Pinny, was excited to tell us about his 3rd birthday party over the summer while looking at his family picture.

Watching our friends reactions was a perfect foundation to the holiday. Just like our parents love us so much, Hashem is like our parent and is always there for us.

Taking care of baby dolls was a hands on way to realize all the care a child needs. Tehillah, proud of putting a diaper on her baby. Reuvi, mashed up some baby food.

Now we are ready to learn that not only does Hashem care for us he also loves when we do sweet things!

What is sweet for Hashem? Tasting honey woke up our taste buds and friends shared what they like to eat that's sweet. For Hashem, our MITZVAHS ARE SWEET!

We sing "have a happy sweet new year" and now our friends were connecting the dots.

Drawing our Mitzvahs we like to do and tasting delicious honey after!

Watching our friends come up and draw what they did that was sweet was definitely giving Hashem so much joy!

With all this honey tasting we had some fun this week learning where honey is from!

Bee hive sensory bin.

What a sweet gesture for Shlomi and Moshe to try to pick up all the pieces that were coming out of our bin.

We have been working hard on our Rosh Hashana crafts.

We had a real bee keeper come to visit us!
It was so fascinating using all our senses to learn how bees make honey. What a miracle Hashem made.

Listening the Shofar the days before Rosh Hashana.

Shabbat Shalom!
