This week we focused on strengthening our fine motor skills and creative art experiences.
Pre- writing skills happen at a very young age when we offer different types of finger exercises that will help them hold a pencil properly when the time comes for writing.
Ariella and Ido using water droppers and trying to fill up the tiny suction cups without overflowing them.
Figuring how to suction up the water and use the right amount of pressure to release is such a great activity for little fingers.
Yosef and Zalmen, using pop it toys to fill up each hole with tiny pieces of playdough.
Holes in toilet paper rolls helped us practice our fine motor skills as well as hand eye coordination.
Getting different size beads on thin sticks was such a fun way to watch them concentrate and celebrate their success.
Stickers, is also a great way to learn how to maneuver a small object and providing a shape gave our friends a way to really practice on fine details.
This week we also had fun experiencing with different ways to express our art.
Noa, used many different types of textures as the paint brush. Some had soft cotton, other had strings or a hard object.
Was fun watching the outcome.
Chalk art and using our imaginations.
Practicing our shapes while creating art.
Bingo shape game outside!
One of the highlights of the day is our davening circle. Listening to our sweet friends singing to Hashem and taking responsibility for our jobs. Our Alef Beis pointer, our Tzedaka helper etc
Making our own Challah dough!
Friendships and outdoors.
Avraham and Levi welcoming friends in their home.
Axel and Mordy made a house together.
