Camp Gan Camarillo is off to a beautiful start! This year's theme is "Book Buddies". Each week we will focus on a different Jewish book.
We welcomed our friends the first day with their very own book buddies album they will fill in throughout the summer.
This week's featured books is "Hashem is truly everywhere".
This beautiful book showcases how we are always surrounded with Hashem's presence no matter where we are.

As we shaped cars, and animals out of simple vegetables, we are reminded that Hashem is everywhere! In every color, shape, and part of His creation. each little veggie reminds us that the wonder of the world is truly filled with hashem!
One of the amazing highlights we had this week in camp was our puppet show. Even though we could only see the puppets on stage, there was someone behind the scenes bringing each one to life. just like even if we cant see Hashem with our eyes, he is still always there.
Nothing beats the excitement of sports time! Running, laughing, and making lots of amazing fun memories.
This week, we had a special gardening activity where we planted our very own plants! As we watched our seeds go into the soil, we learned that hashem is everywhere. In every flower, tree, and seed that grows. The beautiful world around us reminds us of Hashems kindness and the amazing life he creates each and every day.
In honor of Shivah Asar B’Tamuz, Rabbi Lang came to visit, and taught us about the beginning of the Three Weeks and how every mitzvah brings us closer to the rebuilding of the Beis Hamikdash.
Through hands-on activities that highlighted teamwork and unity, they discovered that when we come together with kindness and good deeds, we can make a meaningful difference.
Getting ready for Shabbos, one braid at a time! We loved braiding the challahs, adding our own special touch as we prepared to welcome the holiness and joy of Shabbos.
We ended an incredible week together with a joyful Shabbos party, celebrating the beauty and excitement of Shabbos. Wishing all our camp families a beautiful, peaceful, and uplifting Shabbos!
