Fall comes indoors!

Fall Unit

We took our cirlcle time outdoors - under the trees to talk about Hashem's wonderous trees and what happens to them in the fall season.

Moshe and Emma found the matching leaves that fell under the tree we were sitting at.

Leaves on a parachute was a fun way to watch the leaves fly around.

Bringing the outdoors in

Leaf sewing using hole punchers and getting the string in the hole was a great fine motor skill builder as well as team work as we heard friends cheering each other on!

Trying to get rubber bands on and off pine cones was also a fun motor skill.

Nature and play dough to get the full sensory experience.

Emma making leaf prints.

Batya relaxing while playing in the fall sensory bin.

Leaf matching game with Morah Tally.

Leaf absorption experiment on coffee filter leaves. Watching the colors bleed and spread as they get dipped in the water.

Documenting the process for reflection.

Mendel painting on a cellophane scene of trees.

Q-tips and tin foil as mediums to create a fall scene.

Emma using the tree stump in our classroom as a chair.

Thank you Morah Malka for teaching us fun fall songs!
