Becoming a Jew

Parshas Yisro who was Moshe's father in law and heard all the miracles that happened to the Jewish people and wanted to become a Jew!
Yisro, visited our class and acted out how he loves Hashem and all that He did. When Kfir heard that he got up and covered 'his' eyes and said "Say Shema!" was such a sweet moment.

The Jewish people after traveling in the desert got to Har Sinai where Hashem was going to give them the precious Torah.
The world was quiet and a miracle took place that all who was blind could see all imperfections were healed. Our friends creating their own Har Sinai scene.

Happy Tu B'shvat!

This week's Torah portion of Beshalach,  the Jewish people miraculously walked through the sea that Hashem split for them.
Nachshon was a great model by being the first person to trust Hashem that it WILL split and he walked in the sea up until his nose and than Hashem split the waters!

The Jewish women, believed all along that Hashem would save them so they had their tamborines with them when they left Mitzrayim. After the splitting of the sea they broke out in song and dance thanking Hashem.
This Shabbos is called Shabbos Shira- Song!

We made our own tambourines and drew what Mitzvah they wanted to do to bring the redemption we are all waiting for!

Making the splitting of the sea scene .
