Let's count!

Welcome back! Our friends were greeted with pictures from their Pesach break to help with transitioning back to our regular routine. Through drawing about what they did and discussing it, it helps with friends connecting to one another.

Showing what we did with our friends is definitely the highlight.

This week our theme was the counting of the Siferas Haomer.

We’re counting the days from Pesach to Shavuos—just like the Jewish people did long ago! Every day is one step closer to the special day when Hashem gave us the Torah.

We went on a little trip around the classroom counting all the numbers to see where it would take us!

It brought us a beautiful present and inside was the Torah!

We placed a flashlight inside to shine light on the Torah to show the Torah lights up the world!
We also got to taste a delicious treat since when we learn the Torah it's so sweet for us and Hashem.

While learning about the counting of the Omer we took this opportunity to start our two week math skills unit. Levi connecting magnet tiles with the correct number he sees.

Printed hand numbers from 1-10 was a great way for our friends to practice then numbers.
Some drew objects with how many fingers they saw.

Some friends practiced doing it themselves!

Gross motor number fun trying to hop from number to number. Zalman, figuring out he can hold on to a chair and hop for a long time.

Making challah dough together!

Our garden produced our very first beet!

Recharging and resting with books.
