A Salty Sweet Ending

This week, we took a trip to the lowest place on Earth, Yam HaMelach, (the Dead Sea). We learned that it’s called Yam HaMelach because it's full of salt that makes everything float. The kids were amazed to discover that you can't sink in it, even if you try!

We did a fun science experiment to show how saltwater makes things float. The children watched in surprise as our egg floated in saltwater but sank in plain water. They were so excited to see the difference and understand how it works.

Creating salt art inspired by Yam HaMelach.

It’s hard to believe, but we’ve reached the last week of camp! Our last days were filled with so many joyful memories. We bounced high on the moon bounce, cozied up in our pajamas, enjoyed some sweet (and salty) treats, and saw so many sweet moments of friendship and kindness!

Last stamp in our passports!

Academics

We have been learning about 2D & 3D shapes. Here Axel, Moshe & Mordy  are playing a shape recognition game.

Our class had fun completing worksheets identifying 2D & 3D shapes

Aftercare

The children made Yam HaMelach body scrub! When they tried it out they couldn’t stop feeling their hands, saying again and again how soft they were!

Shabbat Shalom!
