Chanukah in Our Gan ✨

We had so much fun celebrating Chanukah this week!

We made sure to light the menorah every day, and watching the candles burn was so magical.. 🕯️✨

The children enjoyed sensory play while making their very own menorahs.
Eli F. created a beautiful 3D menorah!

Moshe, filled a dreidel shape using building blocks and, of course, dreidels!

Avraham, made a Gimel!

Show and Tell Time!

Magic painting!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating with our Gan family at our annual Chanukah party!

Getting Chanukah gelt from Rabbi Lang, Thank you!

After learning about the huge miracle Hashem made for the Maccabees, who were few and won against the Yevanim (Greeks) who were many—we practiced our math skills by identifying which pictures showed a few and which showed a lot.
Here you can see Eli F. and Yehudis placing the > (greater-than, or “alligator,” symbol)!

The children had a blast playing in the snow! Exploring, laughing, and enjoying the magic of winter...

After learning all about Chanukah and its yummy traditional foods, we rolled up our sleeves and made our very own latkes!

Magical moments of learning new skills 💛

Yummy!

What a extra special Chanukah treat on our SOS story time day!
Thank you to the Zieglers for coming to visit! Reading a story and playing the accordion!
