Delicious Mezonos!

"This week we learned the Bracha Mezonos. Food that is made from grain (wheat, barley, rye, spelt or oat) but is not bread gets the Bracha Mezonos like cakes, crackers cereals, pasta etc.
Our friend puppet peeking into lunch boxes to find this Bracha. Ayal, found a matching cracker and made a beautiful Bracha.

Using a face puppet we had friends come up and review last week's Bracha of Shehakol and this weeks Bracha and practice to see if they knew the Bracha!

We have been busy creating an interactive Bracha Book that our friends will take home at the end of this unit.
Yosef and Yossi working on their pretzel page!

Using our taste buds to guess what food item is in our mouth that is the Bracha of Mezonos.

Eli, practicing his math skills by counting the toppings on his cookie.

Zalman and Noa, painting pasta.

Nechama, lining up her pasta ;)

Once it was dried Ido created a beautiful pasta necklace.

We also made edible Mezonos necklaces using cheerios. Took a lot of concentration getting the the string in the hole.

Making yummy oatmeal cookies.

Axel, role playing a Morah and teaching his friends.

Nothing like after the rain when our sand box becomes a fun sensory experience.

Avraham the ABC's pointer. Having jobs at circle time creates a sense of responsibility and patience when waiting for their turn.

Working hard together to get our classroom cleaned!
