Yay! We finished our Brachas unit!

This week we finished the last two Brachas!
Hamotzei, what we say on bread, pizza, bagels etc. Yosef, used his play dough to make his very own challah braid.

During circle time, we learned what special thing we do before we eat- wash our hands three on each hand!
After role modeling the process, Eli and Zalman wanted to try it themselves and see if they got it right!

In honor of the Bracha of Hamotzei our friends became chefs and made their very own pizza lunch! Picking different toppings made each one so different and unique.

The very last Bracha we learned about is Hagafen what we say on grape juice and for our parents, wine!
Chana and Ayal, showing us how grape juice is made, by crushing grapes. Some of our friends had a great quesiton; "Grapes are Haetz?!" Which is a great observation! As soon as it becomes a special drink it turns into a different Bracha.

Levi, wanted to show us how his Tatty makes kiddush on Shabbos.

Yossi, finishing up his last page in his Bracha book by decorating a kiddush cup with a lot of purple inspired art.

Noa and Chana, making a cluster of  grapes using pom poms and paint!

Mordy, using his architect skills building with grapes and toothpicks.

We celebrated at the end of the week, practicing using our very own Brachas book. Avraham and Ariella 'feeding themselves' different food items.
