The Holy Mishkan

This week we learned about Parshas Teruma where Hashem wanted the Jewish people to build a Mishkan (a mini Beis Hamikdash). A place where they can feel close to Hashem while they traveled to Eretz Yisroel.

Teruma means donations. Hashem told Moshe to ask the Jewish people if they have any of the 14 items that the Mishkan needed they can donate it if they want to, Hashem wanted it to be their choice.
Our friends practiced donating different materials that was needed.

Making a project showing the 14 different  materials.

This week we also learned how our very own body is like the Mishkan!

After learning about the most holiest part of the Mishkan, the Aron we made an edible one!

Kindergarten Kria
We have been practicng our new vowel of Shva.
We learned its quite a silly vowel since it depends where in the word its placed to know the sound. This week we focused on what it sounds like in the beginning of the word!
Using stickers to create the vowel symbol!

During morning centers, we place review un pages for both levels and its fun to see the prk friends try the kindergarten work!
