Our Mouth can do Mitzvahs!

This week at camp, we learned we can do so many Mitzvah's using our MOUTH!
Nechama, helped us introduce the big idea of the week during circle time.

We can use our mouth to say nice things to our friends. We played a friend scavenger hunt by asking questions about each other and learning more about them.

Food which we eat all the time can be used for a Mitzvahs by saying a Bracha (blessing) before we eat it! Our friends were invited to make any type of food using playdough.

Getting to make a real treat to say a Bracha on, chocolate covered bananas! Delicious !

Using spaghetti as a art medium one morning, was quite a different experience! Yedidya, cut out and created a delicious food person!

Kindergarten Kria
Games have been such a fun interactive way to touch up on our reading skills. Going fishing and parking cars!

Chaya Leah, using bottle caps to make a word and read it.

Prk Kria
We have been touching up on our similar Hebrew letters. This week we focused on Shin and Sin which looks so similar.

Commemorating the auspicious day of Gimmel Tammuz a day when we no longer got to see the Rebbe. (the leader of Chabad) With out the Rebbe we wouldn't even have this camp! His presence and outlook on this world is alive more than ever throughout the world!
It is customary to write a pan- a letter asking for a Blessings. Rabbi Land and Rabbi Muchnik uplifted us with a rally filled with songs and powerful messages.

In English Academics, we learnt about how our fingerprints are unique-& used balloons to  analyze our fingerprints !

Thank you to Theo's mother Dr. Janna Gorinstein from Pure Dental Camarillo  for coming to visit us and teach us how important it is to take care of what's IN our mouth, our teeth!

Bubble fun!
