Mazel Tov!

This week we learned about Parshas Chaya Sara.

Finally Avraham and Sara had a baby Yitzchak who grew up and now was time to get married.

Avrham appointed Eliezar his special helper to find a special wife.

Making a camel heading out with Eliezar. Eliezar asked Hashem to show him a sign that if a girl helps him and his 10 camels with water and shows kindness, she will be the right girl.

Camels drink a lot of water! Mendy using his fine motor skills to try to fill up 10 cups of water for the camels.

Rivka was the one who helped and was chosen !

We looked and felt a rose to see the thorns around the beautiful rose. This was like Rivka a beautiful kind girl amongst a family who was like thorns.

The highlight of this week was the Mock Wedding we had in honor of the first Jewish wedding, Yitzchak and Rivka

We have been getting ready for 'Donuts for Dad' next week. Leah and Shai using her father's picture to make his portrait for a project we are working on.

The letter Zayin was introduced and we had fun using black magic paper practicing our letters.

Kindergarten Kria

We started a new vowel of Patach. We call this sound the 'dentist aaa sound' we open our mouth wide to say this sound.

"Aaaa"

Academics

Working on alphabet letter sequencing.

With our Holy Land in our minds we have been davening extra and thank you Rabbi Lang for coming in to do a rally saying the Torah Pesukim and giving extra Tzedaka in their honor.

Welcome in!

This week we learned and lived with Parshas Vayera.

The first Jewish couple, Avraham and Sara loved teaching people about Hashem.

They created a tent scene with four doors for guests to come in all sides.

Their favorite Mitzvah was Hachnasas Orchim - welcoming guests.

Yakov, creating a big tree to go outside of his tent to make shade for the guests while they ate.

Chana, creating Avraham and Sara.

Morah Hadar, teaching us how we invite guests and make them comfortable.

We practiced how to set a table. Our friends are super excited to try to set their own tables for Shabbos at home.

There were three miracles that took place while Sara was alive.

Her candles stayed lit the whole week!

The Challah on the Shabbos table stayed fresh all week long as well.

And on top of the tent there was a cloud signifying Hashem's presence all the time.

We got to really practice what it is like to host by inviting the Torah Tots to some cookies we made for them!

Prk Kria

We learned the letter Vav. Mendy wrote Vered Varod- Pink flowe on the board.

Using clay we practiced the letters we know so far.

Kindergarten Krai

We have been practicing the Kamatz sound and blending. Next week we are super excited to introduce the next vowel of Patach.

Academics

Our dramatic play area helped the Parsha come to life.
