We enjoyed MANY opportunities this week to explore and learn about mountains!
Copying the projected photo of a mountain onto our white wall!
We put out this activity on Thursday morning- which was the when the fires broke out here in Camarillo!
Many of the children were filled with updates on the fire situation outside.
They told me they saw fire on the mountains while they were driving and fire fighters etc..
So while drawing the mountain being projected on the wall Noach and BL decided to draw some fire on it since it had been on their mind!

In the next two weeks we will be working on a very special project for the Holiday of Shavout.
The first step was making mountains!
The children decided on the size of the balloon (mountain) they wanted and covered it with paper mache'....
Next week will post on what the next steps are of this fun and meaningful project!
