Rosh Hashana is around the corner!
Our big idea for this holiday was, what does 'Have a sweet new year' really mean? What life lesson can our friends walk away with while learning about Rosh Hashana?
Our "Bee" friend helped us out by letting us taste sweet honey.
What else is sweet? Sholom documenting at our circle time what he likes to eat that's sweet.
Can only food be sweet? What is sweet for Hashem?
Our Mitzvahs! Chanie drawing her sweet mitzvah which is to love her mommy!
We taste sweet foods on Rosh Hashana to ask Hashem for a year filled with sweet things.
Well there was a lot of sweetness in our class this week as every time a child did a mitzvah we got to document it on our bee hive!
The word sweet was becoming more meaningful!
We took this opportunity to learn more about Hashem's smart bees and how they make honey.
Sholom's bee drinking the nectar and flew to the bee hive for it to turn into honey.
Yellow hexagon shaped pieces were a fun way to make a hive as well as collect the nectar from the flower.
Working hard on our Rosh Hashana projects, Adelle stopped to say hello to the bee :)
Can you build a bee hive?
Yanky admiring his clay apple he made and Esther concentrating on balancing the stem and the leaves.
Rosh Hashana is in the air!
Happy 3rd birthday to our sweet friend, Adelle!
