Shapes with a Jewish Twist!

On our second week of learning shapes, our friends seem to find shapes everywhere!

"Were standing on a lot of diamonds!"

Trying to make triangles with their legs.

Esther, "Let's make a circle together!"

A hungry frog came to circle time and requested different shapes to eat. Esther found the triangle for him to gobble up!

Sensory Shapes

Little tiny shapes and silly putty, invited the children to talk about the different shapes they recognize.

Mina was excited to find a circle hiding in her silly putty.

Foam shapes hiding in shaving cream brought some smiles and giggles out.
Chana Rochel wanted to clean up after herself :)

All types of circle objects as a medium for painting.

Chanie made a face of circles.

How many blocks can you fit into the rectangle?

Building towers with squares.

Turning shapes into a Jewish experience

The past two weeks, our friends have been working hard on their shape book. We took different shapes and turned it into a Mitzvah.

Moshe telling us how much he loves his friends with his heart.

Noticing a rectangle on the Torah.

I am like a diamond in Hashem's eyes.

Inviting guests into our home is a Mitzvah. Yanky made a square home and drew his friends.

Batya giving circle coins into the Tzedaka box. Batya noticed the top being a circle too. " A circle inside a circle."

Our davening songs were on shapes one morning.
