Happy Tu B'shvat and grandparent's party!

Our friends have been working really hard on their Tu B'shvat art pieces. First, they painted the sky than with branches from our dried up grape vine they created their very own unique tree. Lastly, fun wooden buttons became the leaves and fruits of their gorgeous tree.

This week we focused on the 7 fruits of Israel.

Getting to come up and taste some of them was a fun treat.

The grapes were a hit!

Using tweezers helped our  friends try to remove seeds from a big squash.

Teamwork makes the dream work.

Tu B'shvat Grandparents party!

We divided a beautiful tree picture into different part so all our friends were able to create their part on a canvas and we will be putting it together to create a Tu B'shvat scene. 

We want to thank seniors from our community for coming to our party for those who didn't have grandparents close by. 

Going on a Shivas Haminim ( seven fruits of Israel ) hunt.
