This week, we learned the beautiful story of how Hashem chose the mountain for Matan Torah. All the mountains wanted to be chosen. Hashem didn’t choose the tallest or the most impressive—He chose Har Sinai, the smallest of them all. Why? Because he was humble.
"What does it mean to be humble?" Mendy answered, "Not boasting!" That’s right! But then we asked, “Does being humble mean I’m worse than anyone else?” The whole class answered together, “No!”
Yossi C. added, “Being humble means teasing less,” and we couldn’t agree more. What beautiful insights from our little learners!
To make Har Sinai even more special, Hashem covered it in colorful flowers.
Nechama L. added flowers to her play dough Har Sinai—just like Hashem did 💕
This week, our classroom transformed into a mountain-making workshop! Each child got to choose what kind of mountain to create—some made Har Sinai, while others crafted volcanoes or icy peaks. We built the bases using recycled materials like paper, foam, baskets, and egg cartons, showing how creativity and care for the environment can go hand in hand. Then came the layers of paper-mache, followed by painting and adding special details like flowers, snow, or lava.
As the school year winds down, it's easy for routines to slip—but the kids reminded us how we can still keep our classroom organized and neat!
We had a wonderful time at the library for a special book reading by Morah Leah!

Teamwork Tuesdays! The children had a blast playing the string cup game, a fun teamwork challenge where they used strings and a rubber band to stack cups without touching them. It was a great reminder that teamwork makes the dream work—when we work together, we’re so much better!
